Vacuum Explosion Welding

Since 1985, Shockwave has perfected the art of joining dissimilar metals inside state-of-the-art vacuum chambers. With three of them in operation—including one of the largest worldwide—we produce clad plates of up to 30 m². This technology combines innovation with environmental responsibility, ensuring exceptional quality while minimizing ecological impact.
